Anger is something we don't often control. Instead, it controls us, and we use it to control others. Getting angry causes us to yell at the ones we love and sometimes people we don't even know. We don't stop to look at the real reasons for our loss of control. As a result, we lash out at anyone or anything that gets in our way. We get angry or frustrated and, without thinking, we look for a way to vent. This often results in destructive and harmful actions toward ourselves and others. It causes both emotional and physical DIS-EASE! In taking responsibility for our actions, we become coachable and therefore able to grow.
If you have read this far, chances are you have been ordered by the courts to take an anger management class. You will likely be assigned "X" amount of hours and you probably don't think you need the course. Well, we have a different approach because we don't think you need it either.
